Entering the Mysteries
Focusing on Deepening our Prayers and Visions
Friday, February 24th, 2012 6pm
to Saturday February 25th, ending at 2pm
An overnight opportunity is available for those who wish to participate. There are shared and individual rooms available for six .Call for information.
Please bring a sack lunch; a hearty soup and salad, homemade rolls, beverages and snacks will be provided. A light breakfast of oatmeal, granola, yogurt, fruit, and muffins will also be provided.
All art and journaling supplies will be provided. You will go home with heart-moving drawings of the Mysteries and Poetry from the heart.
This retreat is participatory and interactive and will make use of:
Meditation and Contemplative Prayer
Drawing and Imagery
Prayer Journaling and Creative Writing
Active Internal Listening
A meal will be served. All materials included.
There is a limit of 12 participants for this retreat.

Celtic Spirituality: Entering in Through the Saffron Veil of Light
Saturday March 24, 2012 8am until noon
This four hour retreat introduces the Celtic perspective of belief, both from a pre and post Christian viewpoint. Celtic spirituality embraces the ever-present mystery of creation, the first light created as the light that lives at the heart of all of life. It is in the midst of each of us, in the center of each of us, and is, indeed, the essence of all. It is this very light from which all of life proceeds. To discover this light in the midst of life is the Celtic spiritual journey.
Participants will explore the foundation of Celtic spiritual thinking and discover how this links with their own inner voice.
Participants will enter into spiritual exercises designed to connect each of us more closely with ourselves as an integral part of creation.
Participants will engage in creative expressions that support their own spiritual journeys.
A light meal will be served. All materials included.
Wear appropriate attire as this retreat will take place outdoors, weather permitting.
There is a limit of 24 participants for this retreat.

Creative Expressions of the Spiritual Journey
Saturday April 21, 2012 3pm until 7pm
This four hour retreat guides participants to express personal spiritual experiences and desires, enabling them to tap into a very deep place in their souls. Through painting, drawing, and collage work, this retreat is designed to aid in the accessing of insights and illumination in a way that bypasses the intellectual and often judging mind. No previous art experience is necessary to make use of the creative process of spiritual development.
Participants will experience an arousal of personal creativity through spiritual means.
Participants will discover inspiration for deeper spiritual experiences.
Participants will discover a deep well of creative imagination to draw upon to aid them in spiritual growth.
Participants should wear painting clothes.
A light meal will be served. All materials included.

Golden Leaves of the Heart: Sacred Writing
Saturday September 15th, 2012 3pm until 7pm
If you have ever been inspired by the Psalms, the writings of Rumi, or the imagination of CS Lewis or Tolkien, you will truly enjoy this four hour retreat. Discover your own Psalm within; put words to the song of your heart; create poetry that illuminates your deepest heart of hearts.
Participants will learn methods of accessing inner wisdom and formulating words that match those intuitive experiences.
Participants will practice an honoring of their deepest selves as they were created by the hand of the Author of Life.
No writing experience or ability is necessary for this retreat, just a heart ready to open to possibilities and potential.
A light meal will be served. All materials included.
There is a limit of 15 participants for this retreat.
