Descendent of Celtic gypsies in 8th century Northern Italy and Switzerland, her area of specialization is in Celtic Spirituality. She opened Morning Bridge Center in 2005 and has been offering cross-religious and ecumenical spiritual direction since 2008.
Raised as a Presbyterian with strong Unitarian -Universalist and Buddhist influences, she was trained early in her adult life on a Taoist commune. Her own spiritual development led her to the Catholic Church where she has studied contemplative prayer for several years with a Carmelite monk spiritual director. Dr. Sanders earned her doctorate from the University of Washington in Educational and Clinical Psychology and is licensed to practice psychology in the States Washington and Maine. She received her ceritification in Spiritual Direction from the Jungian based Haden Institute. She is currently enrolled in a doctoral program in Widsom theology through Wisdom University.
